Safeguarding our communities during events

Over the summer months there are many festivals and festivities that take place across the South East as communities take advantage of the glorious weather.

The Royal Naval Museum at Greenwich is hosting a series of concerts as part of the Labyrinth series of Festivals over the next few weeks. This is one of many of a plethora of events occurring in the South East.

We have officers out on the footprint ensuring everyone's safe ingress and egress from the event and intervening should there be any concerning behaviour - such as unlicensed taxi touting who are targeting vulnerable event attendee's.

Specialist  covert officers who are trained as Behaviour Detection Officers are out as part of Violence against Women and Girls patrol teams looking for ‘red Flag’ behaviour to further safeguard members of our communities.
